Ikelite 8 Inch Dome Port Adapter Mirrorless
Allows for the attachment of a Modular 8-inch Dome to any Ikelite Housing for a Compact DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Ā The 8-inch dome is specially designed for underwater photography and injection molded out of optical grade acrylic. Ā The diameter of the dome provides sharper photos corner-to-corner, while the large surface area of the dome makes shooting over-unders (half-in, half-out of the water) easier. Ā
The dome needs be very close to the front of the housing to provide the best images possible with super wide angle lenses. Ā The proximity of the port to the housing precludes the use of zoom function when using this adapter. Lenses must be used at a fixed focal length.

Mirrorless Port System
An interchangeable lens camera demands a housing with interchangeable lens ports. Ā It couldn't be more simple to change ports than this systemājust press the port on and tighten three thumb screws. Ā Feel positive reinforcement that the port is secure without any complex moving parts that can jam or break in a remote location.

This vignetting is caused by the sensor and not the dome/shade.
